Movie Review: Rocky 3

Alright... so it's been a while since I've seen the Rocky series. In fact, I'm not certain that I've actually seen ALL off the first three movies all the way through. My mind is blurred from the all of the flashback scenes. Rocky 4 is definitely my favorite, though. "I must break you." Wow... that's some power right there.


Anyway, so the wife and I get through Rocky 1 and 2, and they are really quality. Rocky 3, however, did not live up. Mr. T just wasn't cutting it for me. With lines like "I pity the fool" actually making it into the film, I can't get on board with it. Clubber Lang... my word. That character has no depth at all. Just a heel, straight up. He had those feather earrings and everything. Ick.



So, apart from the Eye of the Tiger finally showing up in the soundtrack, this movie was a big let down. I have high hopes for Rocky 4, though. I believe the Rocky 4 soundtrack was the first CD I ever owned. That was some quality stuff right there!
